Since 2018 when Synauta started the remote-first team has hosted face to face strategy and project sessions in various locations.

In January 2023, with many new faces joining the company in the second half of 2022, we gathered in Calgary and Canmore, Alberta. The event included three packed days of workshops, sessions and breakout groups the final and fourth day involved a “refreshing” trip to the summit of Sulphur Mountain in Banff, Alberta.

“It’s a key opportunity for our remote-first team to come together and socialize and meet, identify opportunities and refine ideas, and prepare for the next 3-6 months,” said Mike Dixon, CEO.

“This January we were lucky enough to have Hiep Le, Gradiant CTO and Delph Mak, Gradiant Senior Director Digital Solutions, join us for sessions all the way from Singapore. We also had team members from Brazil, the United States, British Columbia and Ontario join us in Alberta,” Dixon shared.

In 2022 the team gathered in Los Angeles and Anaheim, California to visit desalination and water reuse plants as well as host multiple strategy and planning sessions.
