Early in 2020 Synauta was nominated for the Global Water Intelligence (GWI) Water Technology Idol. Our team planned to present to the judges at the Global Water Summit scheduled for March 2020 in Madrid, Spain.

With COVID-19 the Summit in Madrid was cancelled. GWI then adapted to host the prestigious award fully online, later in 2020. In advance of the online presentations all nominees were required to prepare a video addressing specific criteria for the award.

More than 300 people joined the online event on 19 November 2020. Following the presentations and questions from the judges, Synauta was awarded a Distinction for our “Desal SaaS”.

Our team proudly shares this award with our wonderful early adopters in Australia, the Middle East, Europe and Canada.
